Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how DedalDev Doo ("DedalDev", "we", "us") handles your information when you use AppRankHero (the "Service") — our macOS app and website for App Store Optimization.
Information we collect
- Account data: your email address and name, provided when you sign in. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase.
- Product data: the apps and keywords you choose to track, and the ranking, competitor and metric data generated from them.
- Subscription data: your plan status and license key. Payments are processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record — we never receive or store your card details.
- Diagnostic data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
How we use it
To provide and maintain the Service, authenticate you, generate ASO data you request, process your subscription, send essential transactional emails, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service: Google Firebase (authentication), Polar (payments / Merchant of Record), Resend (transactional email), and our hosting infrastructure. The Service queries Apple's public iTunes/App Store Search API to obtain ranking data; that data is public.
Data retention & your rights
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account from within the app at any time, which removes your account and associated personal data. You may also request access to or deletion of your data by emailing us.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access is restricted to your own team. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
